About the Event

The monthly Chapter Club Night at the Penn Bowling Club where members can get an update on:

Motorcycle Touring Talk.

Gary France is a Harley-Davidson rider who travels widely overseas. He has ridden in 31 countries and 29 states in America. He has covered hundreds of thousands of miles riding abroad and its fair to say he absolutely loves doing that. We don’t know many people who have done anywhere near the same amount of riding abroad as Gary has.

Gary recently gave a talk about Motorcycle Touring at a recent HOG Regional Officer Connection event where many chapters were represented and subsequently, he has been asked to give that same talk to many chapter events throughout the UK. One of those is going to be at the Wolfruna Chapter and so we have arranged for Gary to come and talk to us about motorcycle touring.

In 2010, Gary rode 21,475 miles around the USA in a single four-and-a-half month road trip. He wrote a huge book about his journey called ‘France In America’. He will tell us a little about that amazing trip as well as giving tips about planning and riding road trips abroad, especially in Europe. Gary also runs Tour1, a Harley-Davidson authorised tour operator.
