2023 marks the 80th Anniversary of the Dambusters raid and to commemorate the event we have an overnight trip to the Lincolnshire Aviation Centre, for their mid-week Bike Night, where we’ll see “Just Jane”, one of the last remaining Lancaster Bombers, fire up her engines and taxi before our very eyes.  Our accommodation at the the Petwood Hotel is the very place that 617 Squadron were based as they trained for their daring mission.

Hotel accommodation is £128 for a twin room.

Initial plan is to head to East Kirby with a stop off for lunch. Afternoon check-in at Petwood Hotel. Evening departure for the 12 mile journey to the airfield. Return detasils for 15th June TBC.
