09/08 Fire up for the weekend 🔥

Good evening everyone. As you may be aware, Broth and Ev are on holiday this week and so it’s your lovable Assistant Director, Tallin, stepping in with this weeks Shout-Out.

Really great news that Patti is on the mend and I’m sure we’re all looking forward to seeing her again real soon xx

Firstly, a recap on Sunday’s brilliant ride to Barmouth. Harry put on a cracking route through some lovely country roads. 10 bikes made the trip and by and large we were successful in dodging the rain clouds. Barmouth itself was a great seaside destination delicious fish’n’chips on hand, as well as “Black ice cream” if you dare... A full day and great fun! I’m sure there’ll be a similar trip next year.

Tonight is of course, bike night at the Danery, and it’s great to see from the chat that so many of you are already planning on heading over that way to meet up.

Tomorrow evening we have our monthly Club Night, at the Clarendon Hotel, Chapel Ash. Kick off is 7:30 pm. Weather looks good so maybe there’ll be a few more bikes out 😊. Please do come along, we may even have a session with Baggott’s Balls!

This coming Sunday, Bob is putting on a great ride to Dom’s Bike Stop, Leominster, via the Crossgates Café/Service Station. The meeting point is at the Shell Garage, Chartwell Business Park, Bridgnorth (WV15 6AN). Meet at 10 o’clock, with stands up at 10:30 am. Remember. Full Tank/Empty Bladder. Please RSVP on the app if you can.

Looking slightly ahead, there are quite a few members heading up to Aviemore, for the Thunder in the Glens Rally. I’ll be sending out a poll shortly to ask if you’d like to be added to a separate Whattsapp group for this event. That way, when we’re up there it will be easier to keep in touch rather than clog up this main group.

Looking even further ahead and a date for your diary, on the evening of Saturday 7th October, after we’ve taken part in the Wall (RTTW), we’re planning another social night at Tapri, Indian Bar and Restaurant. Our first trip there was a great night out. The food is fabulous and the owners are very supportive of the Charity work we do (they’re the ones who donated the Indian food on our Mods’n’Rockers night!).
