17/8 Fire up for the weekend

Our Christmas event is now booked for Friday 1st December at the Dudley Arms. We have booked the whole venue so will be a cracking night for the chapter. Please reserve your ticket asap.

I will be at the dealership on Saturday, weather is looking good so I’m sure we can squeeze a ride in. Remember food is available at the dealership, really important we support this. They also have some cracking deals on ex demo bikes.

Due to the big match on Sunday the ride has been postponed (low number of responses). Geek will provide an update for the new date.

We will meet at the Danery Pub on Wednesday for their bike night, come with empty stomachs!

There was a Directors call on Monday. HOG will launching HOG awards for multiple categories. This will give HOG members an opportunity to nominate chapters/individuals. The winners will be announced in October at the ROC meeting. I will have more details for the next chapter meeting on  14th Sept.

We have 1.5 rooms left for our Italy trip. Please let Gavin know if you would like a room, other chapters have indicted they are happy to take them as accommodation is very limited.

We have a few members that have allowed their HOG membership to expire. Please sort this out as soon as possible - this is holding us back announcing our 120th member.

Finally, Morgan will be stepping down as our Membership Officer. Morgan has helped the chapter grow to the largest it has ever been and I would like to thank him for his support - he will still be very much involved with the chapter as road captain. If you’re interested in the position please let me know by Friday 25th August. Note the roll does involve a fair bit of administrative work, including lovely spreadsheets. Any questions give me a bell.
