4th July Celebrations
Yesterday also saw the 4th July Independence Day Celebrations at the Stratstone Harley Davidson Wolverhampton Dealership. Despite the horrendous weather, we had a fantastic turnout! Wolfruna Family members attended aswell as a visit from some of our neighbours from the Birmingham HOG Chapter.
The fundraising event saw the Ladies of Wolfruna pulling together to put on stalls to help raise money for charity. There were many different foods available for a donation including a pulled pork tent, samosas, pakoras and bhajis, the HD Burger Van, sweets and delicious homemade cakes! There was also a Tombola with some fantastic prizes up for grabs. Not forgetting the auction for two leather cuts with the HOG patch and Wolfruna Top Rockers already on.
The event also created the perfect opportunity for the new Wolfruna Chapter Merchandise to be showcased.
The fun didn't stop there though - some of the Wolfruna Family entertained the crowd with line dancing....in the rain! All thanks to Gav for giving up his time Friday evening to show them the ropes. Not a bad performance to say they learnt it in a few hours!
To top off all of the excitement, Chapter Director Cut took one for the team and stood in the stocks creating the opportunity for everyone to throw wet sponges at him! Something his wife Natali enjoyed very much!
The Dealership even had a fantastic sale indoors with 20% off all merchandise - some was discounted even more!
In all, it was a fantastic day, with not so fantastic weather, with a brilliant turnout and a lot of money raised (actual amount pending).
