8/6/Fire up for the weekend

It is with sad news to say that Marion, a former member has passed away. I had the pleasure of travelling around Scotland with Marion and her husband Tony. All our thoughts are with Tony, their family and friends. Marion’s funeral is on 22nd June at 12:30 in Cleobury Mortimer. If you would like to be part of the bike procession please let Geek know asap.

Last weekend we had Wolfruna’s mini, international trip to the Killarney Bike Fest. It was a fantastic trip and around 1,000 miles clocked up. We certainly had the most HOG members there. A big thanks to those that helped bring this together. I am currently looking at destinations for next years mini trip. Amsterdam is being considered, but open to members suggestions.

Wolfruna has now made a £700 donation to the Broadmeadow Special School, Wolverhampton to fund sensors for multi-sensory learning. We will arrange a ride-out to make a cheque presentation.

Just a quick note about the A449 - there are some major roadworks going on between Penn snd Stourbridge. A lot of gravel has been put down and sections of the road are closed. One to avoid if you’re on your bike.

To confirm, the new Rally Officer will be announced at the chapter meeting tonight. Please be at the Clarendon for 7:30.

There is a scenic ride planned to the Oily Rag on Saturday. Please meet at the dealership, stands up 11:00. Rich is leading and Pete is tail. Make the most of this weather.

Remember to utilise the food hut at the dealership, it is there for our benefit. I hope to see you at the chapter meeting later, use the brewery carpark.
