Fire up for the weekend

Evening all,

First, a huge thanks to the LOH for their efforts on Saturday - what an incredible day. They raised £850 for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation and nearly £500 for the Chapter. A special thanks to Patti, Cheryl, Emma and Jenny for their work on Saturday, it was non-stop.

Our first big ride of the season is upon us - the Easter Egg Run. A lot of preparation has gone into to making the ride, through 3 towns, as safe and easy as possible. With 103 members it should be an epic ride. Please meet at the dealership early, stands up at 10:00. The brief will be at 9:45. The route is similar to the Xmas, but there have been some small changes to make it easier to keep us together. Nigel and I will be outriders (don’t follow us) creating rolling roads to help with safer passage out of key junctions on the route. All will be explained on Saturday.

There is still time to get Easter Eggs dropped off at the dealership, thank you to Trevor for donating 400. If you can’t get any to the dealership, please feel free to make a donation and we will arrange getting more Eggs.

Deva Legion Chapter have invited us to their dealership (Chester), which will include a joint ride to the Ponderosa cafe. It is in the diary for 20th May. Really looking forward to this one.

Finally, a big thank you from me to every single member. The Chapter is a really good place and this is only possible due to the huge efforts of the committee and members. Role on our next chapter meeting on Thursday 13th April (still looking for food ideas).
