11/10 Fire up for the weekend

Evening all,

We had a big turnout for RTTW with 13 members marshalling for Wolfruna. The total number of bikes hasn’t been released but it must be a record year.

I will be away this weekend with some of the committee members - we are attending this years ROC meeting. This provides an opportunity to hear what Harley has planned as well as opportunities to provide feedback.

The weather is looking good for the weekend so a ride will be put on by one of the Road Captains. We initially planned to go the Motorbike Museum but they have a big open event at the end of October which we will put a ride on for.

One for the diary - Sycamore are putting on a Harleyween event on 27th Oct from 5pm.

The Stoke chapter will be at our dealership very early Saturday morning (08:30-09:00) raising money for Stoke hospital. If you have the opportunity, please pop down to say hello and give them a Wolfruna welcome.

We have had a last minute request to lead a funeral procession in West Brom. The request has come from Georgie (Walsall Manor) who we have worked closely with us over the years. We need to meet at 14:45 in Wednesbury and lead the procession to West Brom crematorium. If you’re able to assist please let me know.

We have our chapter meeting tomorrow night at the Clarendon Pub, Chapel Ash from 19:30. Votes will be put forward to help guide the chapter in 2024 so attendance is key. Food will be provided for those have RSVP.
